Chartham
Sports Club runs two football teams
in the Canterbury & District League
on Saturdays and one team in the Herne
Bay & Whitstable League on Sundays.
They will be running a mini-soccer
team of under 8’s in the East
Kent Youth League for the 2004/5 season.
Their
aim is to promote sport in the village
although people from outside may also
join. The annual subscription is £5.00
and the match fee is £5.00 per
player (£2.50 for under 18’s
and unemployed).

Football
coaching is also undertaken at St Augustines
on Saturday mornings. There are two
sessions 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. for
Under 8’s and 11.00 a.m. to 12.00
noon for the Under 11’s.
