Chartham Village Hall was purchased from Arjo Wiggins in March 2005 to provide a Community Centre for Chartham and its inhabitants.

Most of the money was provided by the developer of the housing at St Augustine's, although some monies have been raised by grants, fundraising and from the Parish Council.

After many months of work, the Hall opened in November 2007 and it provides a superb facility in a desirable location. Details of facilities available and hire charges are available via the Village Hall Management Committee Web Site www.charthamvh.org.uk.
